Build new web page: Images

If you want, you can now specify some alternative images for Hi HelpIndex to use.

Note that all three default images have transparent portions which allow background colours to show through.

If you want to specify a new image here, make sure that it has different file name to the original Hi HelpIndex default, as the default is usually picked up from the library files.
And do not forget to put your images on your web site!

Contents icons image Default:

hiicons.gif

hiicons.gif

This image has the icons displayed in the Contents to the left of each entry's text. The URL should refer to a single gif image, usually 64 pixels wide by 13 high (though it can be any size). It should have four images (usually each 16 pixels wide) representing the following items respectively:
  • Closed folder
  • Open folder
  • Relative URL link
  • Absolute URL link, ie usually off your site.
If a Contents entry has an Icon URL specified then the Icon Url overrides these icons.
Try copying, renaming and editing the default hiicons.gif. Enter the new name in this field.
Tab icons image Default:

hitabs.gif

hitabs.gif

This image has the icons displayed at the top of the four tab cards. The URL should refer to a single gif image, usually 56 pixels wide by 12 high. It should have four images; each must be 14 pixels wide, for the Contents, Index, Select and About tabs respectively. You can make the image higher if you use a larger Font.
Try copying, renaming and editing the default hitabs.gif. Enter the new name in this field.
Icon mode image Default:

hi.gif

hi.gif

This image is displayed in the applet area when in icon mode. The image is displayed centrally in the area given to the applet, so the image should normally have the same dimensions as the applet area. You might want the icon image to be transparent so that it can be made to match the background specified in the IconBgColor parameter.
Try copying, renaming and editing the default hi.gif. Enter the new name in this field.
