Start your CD professionally using ShellRun for Windows.

ShellRun neatly AutoPlays your chosen file as soon as your CD, DVD or
USB-memory-stick is inserted into a Windows computer, while displaying
a popup window.  ShellRun is usually used to display a web page in a
user's default browser, but can also launch a PDF, other file type or
program.

You may use the freeware version of ShellRun for free on unlimited
CDs/DVDs/USB-drives.

The retail version lets you
- remove the ShellRun popup window
- add a menu+sub-menu of option buttons
- maximise or minimise the document window
- set the message that appears in the top line of the popup window,
  and its associated URL
- specify an icon image and text formatting
- add a splash image
- show more files at startup
- use non-western Unicode characters in messages
- run a program with parameters
- show files with special parameter, eg IE kiosk mode
- file showing can be conditional on installed viewer, file or registry
- provide a "Do not show again" option
- specify a command to run if there is no viewer for your file
- check that other viewers are available to the user
- determine viewer filenames and versions using the Viewer Browser
- enable XP SP2+ active content while CD in drive

You may redistribute the freeware development kit freely.

Run the freeware or retail development kit to install the software.
You can uninstall it later using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Freeware usage:
ShellRun <file> [<optional_start_up_message>]

Put ShellRun.exe alongside your AUTORUN.INF file in the root directory
of your CD/DVD/USB.

Example usage in an AUTORUN.INF file:

open=ShellRun.exe index.htm
