PHD Online Store Security Statement

The PHD Online Store is hosted by ComponentSource ESD. Secure server pages appear at the final stage of your order when entering credit card details:

1. Build up your order. When you first Add to Shopping Cart, you will have to register or log on with ComponentSource.

2. When your Shopping Cart is complete, click Buy Now and agree to the ComponentSource licence.

3a. If you then click on Secure Server (HTTPS/SSL), you are taken to the ComponentSource secure server to enter credit card details. The bottom pane in the frame is then secure. However, a secure padlock may not appear in your browser because the page is part of frameset.
To check the security setting, right-click somewhere in the bottom pane and select "Properties", "View page info" or similar. You should now be able to check that the page is secured using SSL and verify the certificate for ComponentSource at www.componentsource.com. Click on the VeriSign image to show certificate information from VeriSign.

3b. If you click on Standard Server (HTTP), the rest of the order will not be secure.

3c. If you have any concerns about security, click on Over the Telephone, and finalise your ordering by telephoning ComponentSource on one of the Toll-free numbers listed, quoting the order reference given and store reference EPHD.
